We are hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Gate Pay across both merchant adoption and ecosystem partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring merchants, building strategic partnerships, and enabling the transition of Web2 businesses into crypto-enabled payment use cases. This is a highly commercial, revenue-driven role for individuals who understand crypto payment flows and can convert merchant relationships into scalable transaction activity. Responsibilities - Identify, approach, and onboard merchants to adopt Gate Pay as a payment and settlement solution - Drive conversion of Web2 merchants into crypto-enabled payment use cases - Build and manage a strong pipeline of crypto-native merchants, platforms, and high-volume payment users - Establish and develop partnerships with wallets, PSPs, fintech platforms, and crypto infrastructure providers - Drive transaction volume (GMV) by enabling real payment use cases (e.g. payments, remittance, on/off-ramp flows) - Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-integration growth - Work closely with merchants to ensure successful onboarding, integration, and ongoing usage - Continuously identify new merchant segments and opportunities to expand payment adoption Requirements - 3+ years of Business Development / Sales experience, with strong exposure to crypto, Web3, or digital assets - Experience in merchant acquisition, payment partnerships, or business development within web3 ecosystems - Strong network in at least one of the following: - Web2 merchants (e.g. e-commerce, digital services, cross-border businesses) - Crypto-native merchants / platforms - PSPs, fintech companies, or payment infrastructure players - Ability to convert relationships into measurable transaction volume and revenue - Strong execution ability with a results-driven mindset - Fluency in English and Mandarin Why Join Us - Be part of a team shaping the next-generation payment network, bridging Web2 and Web3 and enabling real-world crypto adoption. - Leverage the scale, user base, and infrastructure of Gate to accelerate adoption and growth. - Operate in a lean, execution-driven team where ideas move quickly from concept to reality. - Work with merchants, platforms, and partners across regions, unlocking cross-border payment opportunities. - Directly influence transaction volume, partnerships, and market expansion — with clear visibility on your impact.
