Role Overview
The Web3 Frontend Developer at OG Labs is responsible for building immersive, high-performance user interfaces that serve as a gateway to our decentralized ecosystem. You will combine cutting-edge technology with complex Web3 state management to create seamless experiences for players interacting in NFT marketplaces, DeFi dashboards, and battle arenas. This position focuses on high-fidelity UI/UX, robust wallet integration, and real-time display of on-chain data, dedicated to creating a highly "holographic" and futuristic interactive experience for the global gaming community.
Core Responsibilities
Immersive UI Development: Build and maintain the core frontend of the platform using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS, focusing on high responsiveness and a futuristic "cyber" aesthetic.
Web3 Integration: Implement secure and intuitive wallet connection processes (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect v2) and handle multi-chain state transitions (Polygon, Arbitrum, Base).
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with smart contract and backend teams to bridge on-chain logic with user-facing functionality, ensuring clear status feedback for all blockchain transactions.
Contract Interaction: Build robust hooks and services using Ethers.js or Wagmi to interact directly with smart contracts within our ecosystem (breeding, marketplace transactions, battle events).
Skills and Qualifications
Experience Requirement: Over 7 years of frontend engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on Web3/DApp development.
Core Skill Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React (18+), TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
Web3 Depth: Extensive hands-on experience with Ethers.js, Wagmi, or Viem for blockchain interaction and transaction lifecycle management.
