Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full process operation of overseas securities business clearing and settlement, ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient fund and securities delivery.
Daily liaison with external partner institutions to complete cash and securities position reconciliation, independently investigate, follow up, and close the loop on reconciliation discrepancies.
Monitor daily settlement status, handle settlement anomalies such as delivery failures and pending transactions, and coordinate internal and external resources to reduce settlement risks.
Responsible for verifying and implementing corporate actions related to securities business, including dividends, stock splits, mergers, etc., to safeguard company rights.
Strictly adhere to relevant market settlement rules and internal systems, ensuring effective monitoring, investigation, and reporting of settlement risks.
Proficient in operating internal clearing and settlement systems, completing data entry, issuing settlement instructions, confirming reconciliations, and participating in system automation optimization.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly settlement reports, discrepancy ledgers, and risk data, collaborating with finance and compliance to complete audit checks.
Collaborate with trading, risk control, technology, finance, and other teams to optimize settlement processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields.
3-10 years of practical experience in overseas securities clearing and settlement, with experience in cross-border securities, brokerage, or financial institutions preferred.
Familiar with securities trading and delivery mechanisms, understanding clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and discrepancy handling processes.
Familiar with corporate actions, transfer clearing, and related processes, with the ability to independently handle settlement anomalies.
Good command of written and spoken English, capable of independently reading overseas settlement documents and conducting basic written communication with external institutions.
Proficient in using data processing tools such as Excel, with strong data sensitivity and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, resilient under pressure, with risk awareness, cross-departmental communication skills, and the ability to learn business processes.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with overseas brokerages, leading financial institutions, cross-border securities business, or clearing and settlement.
Possession of financial-related professional certificates such as securities and funds.
Preference for those familiar with multi-asset class clearing and settlement business.
