Job Title: Senior Business Development
Manager – RWA & Institutional Solutions (Japan)
Location: Tokyo
Role Overview:
We is seeking a Senior BD Manager to spearhead our institutional growth in
the Japanese market. Your mission is to identify and secure strategic
partnerships with top-tier financial institutions, listed companies, and Web3
enterprises. You will be the primary driver for our RWA (Real World Assets)
tokenization initiatives and our Digital Asset Trust (DAT) Staking services,
positioning company as the go-to compliant infrastructure provider in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, pitch, and close deals with
Japanese trust banks, securities firms, and asset managers for RWA and
STO (Security Token Offering) projects.
Institutional Sales: Promote company’s enterprise-grade Staking
solutions (company Cloud) to Japanese listed companies and institutional
investors, focusing on the DAT framework.
Ecosystem Expansion: Cultivate relationships within the Japanese Web3
ecosystem, including regulators (JFSA), industry associations
(JVCEA/JBA), and key technology partners.
Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed targets for AUM (Assets Under
Management) through staking services and successful RWA project
launches.
Market Intelligence: Monitor the Japanese regulatory landscape and
competitor moves to refine company’s go-to-market strategy in the region.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the Global HQ teams in
Hong Kong and Singapore to leverage our full suite of licenses and
technology for the Japan market.
Requirements:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in Business Development or
Institutional Sales, ideally within Fintech, Investment Banking, or a
major Japanese Crypto Exchange.
Network: A strong existing network within the Japanese financial sector
or with large-scale enterprises (Sogo Shosha) is highly preferred.
Web3 Knowledge: Solid understanding of RWA, PoS Staking, Blockchain
infrastructure, and the Japanese regulatory framework for digital assets.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to
explain complex Web3 concepts to traditional institutional stakeholders.
Language: Native-level Japanese is a must; Business-level English or
Mandarin is required for internal global communication.
Cultural Fit: Professionalism suited for Japanese corporate environments
combined with the "get things done" spirit of a Web3 unicorn.
