CEX Product Manager

Job Overview We are looking for a CEX Product Manager with deep risk control thinking and user growth capabilities, responsible for the product planning and iteration of the exchange's core modules (including deposits, withdrawals, trading, risk control, compliance, anti-money laundering, and user experience) as well as asset appreciation features such as wealth management / Earn / Staking. This role requires a combination of risk control strategy, growth modeling, and the ability to interpret exchange data, while also collaborating across departments to drive demand implementation, ensuring platform security, efficient growth, and a stable and reliable user asset experience. Core Responsibilities 1. Risk Control Products - Establish and optimize CEX's full-link risk control strategies, including: - Deposit/Withdrawal risk control - KYC/KYB processes - Anti-money laundering (AML) strategies, risk layering, and user tagging - Detection of abnormal trading behaviors (such as arbitrage, API abuse, excessive orders, volume manipulation) - Fraud risk monitoring (Fraud Detection) - Collaborate with compliance, regulatory, anti-money laundering, and risk control engineers to implement models and risk control rules engines. - Establish a risk control dashboard to enhance the visualization of risk control events and decision-making efficiency. 2. User Growth - Design platform growth strategies: new user acquisition, activity enhancement, retention, and re-engagement. - Lead the AARRR model (Acquisition / Activation / Retention / Revenue / Referral) product strategy. - Design viral campaigns, task systems, and incentive mechanisms (Points, Level, Badge, commissions, invitation systems). - Optimize product decisions based on data (DAU, MAU, retention curves, funnel analysis). - Collaborate with marketing, business development, and operations to drive user growth project implementation. 3. Wealth Management / Earn / Asset Appreciation Function Management - Responsible for the planning of exchange wealth management (Earn / Savings / Staking / Fixed Income) products. - Collaborate with risk control and finance teams to design wealth management product yield models, risk control, and compliance frameworks. - Oversee the product lifecycle (launch, operation, risk control, yield adjustments, delisting). - Ensure user asset security, yield transparency, and smooth experience. - Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate interest calculation, order matching, and yield distribution. 4. Product Planning and Collaboration - Write complete PRDs, user stories, flowcharts, risk control rules, and technical requirement documents. - Work closely with backend, frontend, QA, and risk control engineers to ensure timely product delivery. - Plan the product roadmap, responsible for project pacing and progress tracking. - Continuously optimize product features based on user feedback and data insights. Qualifications Required Qualifications - 3–7 years of experience as a product manager, with at least 1–2 years of relevant background in CEX / FinTech / exchanges. - Familiarity with core exchange processes (deposits, trading engines, matching, clearing, risk control). - Practical product design or project experience related to AML, KYC, and Fraud Detection. - Understanding of user growth models (AARRR), marketing strategies, and user incentive mechanisms. - Familiarity with DeFi / CeFi wealth management products (Earn / Staking / Yield / Fixed Income). - Technical background, able to independently write PRDs, and use prototyping tools (Figma, Axure). - Strong cross-departmental communication skills and data analysis abilities. Preferred Qualifications - Backend technical background or ability to understand simple APIs / ERDs / SDKs. - Experience successfully launching large CEX functional modules. - Familiarity with on-chain data analysis (Dune, Nansen, etc.). - Experience participating in the development of anti-fraud monitoring systems or security products. - Quick learning curve and ownership.
