Job description
Main Responsibilities
- Research the laws and regulations related to virtual assets and licensing requirements in various countries/regions, and track regulatory developments.
- Responsible for the licensing application process, including document preparation, coordinating with lawyers and regulatory agencies, and following up on approvals.
- Maintain updates, annual reviews, and regular compliance report submissions for existing licenses to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide compliance advice to the business team to ensure operational activities meet regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and optimizing the company's internal compliance policies, processes, and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in law, finance, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of compliance experience in the financial or virtual asset industry, with experience in licensing applications preferred.
- Experience in applying for exchange licenses is required.
- Strong regulatory research skills, project management abilities, and English communication skills.
- Highly responsible, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented, and interested in the crypto industry.
