Job description
We are looking for an experienced DeFi researcher responsible for in-depth research on the [TermMax protocol](https://app.termmax.ts.finance/). This position requires over 2 years of practical experience in Web3/DeFi, with solid protocol analysis skills and market insights.
## Core Responsibilities
- Market and Protocol Research
- Conduct in-depth research on the DeFi lending market, tracking the latest lending/borrowing protocol mechanisms and innovations.
- Study the characteristics, risks, and ecological relationships of collateral and borrowed assets in the lending market.
- Analyze the development dynamics of different EVM chain ecosystems and key projects.
- Data Analysis and Intelligence Gathering
- Conduct in-depth research on different tokens and related oracle data sources.
- Analyze technical documents, white papers, and governance proposals.
- Use tools like Etherscan, Coingecko, CoinMarketcap, and DefiLlama to analyze smart contracts and transaction data.
- Documentation and Communication
- Prepare documents and business materials related to project collaborations, VC, and web3 institutions.
- Organize research findings and create internal briefings and analysis reports for the team.
- Communicate with project parties (public chains, protocols, oracles, and other ecosystem participants).
- Strategic Support
- Provide market insights and technical trend analysis to the product team.
- Identify potential collaboration opportunities and integration possibilities.
- Assess the risks and opportunities of emerging protocols.
## Requirements
- Over 2 years of practical DeFi experience, including staking, lending, trading, and other operations.
- Solid foundational knowledge of protocols, understanding smart contracts and basic blockchain principles.
- Proficient in using Etherscan, capable of reading and analyzing on-chain transaction data.
- Excellent research skills, able to quickly learn and understand complex DeFi mechanisms.
- Good English reading skills, able to read English technical documents and white papers.
- Good English communication skills, able to clearly express complex technical concepts.
## Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mainstream lending and yield farming protocols: AAVE, Compound, Euler, Pendle, Morpho, etc.
- Experience in yield strategies and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with the ecological characteristics of different EVM chains such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, etc.
- Programming background, with a preference for those with a foundation in Python, JavaScript, or Solidity.
