Position based in Malaysia, Taiwan
Job Responsibilities:
1. Server Management and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers to ensure stable system operation.
- Manage hardware and virtualization environments, optimizing system performance.
2. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Implement system monitoring to promptly identify and resolve potential issues.
- Handle server failures and performance bottlenecks to ensure high service availability.
3. Security and Access Management:
- Configure and maintain system security policies to prevent security threats.
- Manage user permissions and access controls to ensure data security.
4. Scripting and Automation:
- Write Shell scripts and other scripting tools to automate daily operations.
- Optimize deployment processes to improve work efficiency.
5. Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and execute data backup strategies, regularly conducting backup and recovery drills.
- Ensure data integrity and recoverability.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
2. Work Experience:
- Over 3 years of experience in Linux system management and operations.
3. Skill Requirements:
- Familiar with installation, configuration, and optimization of mainstream Linux distributions (such as CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Proficient in using Shell scripts; knowledge of programming languages like Python is a plus.
- Familiar with configuration and management of common services such as iptables, Nginx, MySQL, Redis, etc.
- Basic knowledge of networking, understanding concepts like TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
4. Qualities and Abilities:
- Strong problem analysis and solving skills, able to independently handle system failures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
5. Bonus Points:
- RHCE, LPI, or other Linux certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (such as VMware, KVM) and container technologies (such as Docker).
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Aliyun, GCP) is preferred.
